Dear Bill Mounce (An Open Letter from Koinonia)
We heard you'll be away from blogging until September 13. So we're a little glum, but we’re happy you’ll be back on September 13!
Until then we'll miss your Mondays with Mounce posts, which are always like those little candy bars (Mounce bars?), because your posts are fun and also filled with coconut. (Uh, we mean your writing is full of sustenance, your posts help us to grow...)
Anyway, we're excited to hear you'll be on some adventures this summer. Things like:
• writing a Greek mini-grammar
• finishing a book for new believers
• attending an NIV2011 translation meeting
That's a lot of life for one year, let alone one summer! We'll be praying for you throughout this eventful season.
[Leave any messages for Bill in the comments]
PS - Bill, this summer Koinonia will feature a lot of posts from your peers (like Gary Burge, Craig Blomberg, Darrell Bock, Lynn Cohick, Dan Wallace, and more)—and we have a slew of giveaways planned—but don’t worry, we’ll save your Mondays with Mounce slot.
